Style Guide | FEIT Shoes

What's the best part about being the Creative Director for The Privy Club? Doing something different all the time. Every day, there’s a new challenge. No matter what I’m doing, I'm always fun, especially when it involves learning new things. There is always a new challenge. It is also the joy of finding other brands who share the same passion, respect and appreciation for quality and finely made products.

While researching for an upcoming interview, I discovered FEIT a footwear and accessories company based in New York founded by Australian brothers Tull & Josh Price.

What I found most inspiring about the brand is their stand against mass production, the emphasis behind their construction techniques and the quality of the materials used. All FEIT products are handmade in limited volumes to ensure minimal environmental impact and maximum quality. It seems that FEIT has mastered the art of handmade shoes and the handmade Goodyear construction.

Featured above the classic yet architecturally designed Hand Sewn Low “LEATHER CUOIO” built by hand from start to finish by one master craftsman using an advanced Goodyear construction technique that produces a superior shoe. The seamless one-piece upper of the shoe is made from a single piece of vegetable tanned leather; hand stitched at the heel and gusseted tongue reinforces the waterproof construction. The Leather is left on the last for 10 days where light steam and humidity are used to tighten the leather, ensuring shape and fit.

If you really want to take your footwear tastes to new heights, visit FEIT, which also offers a made to measure service for individuals looking for that perfect fit, and a truly custom product.

Once again, Quality Wins!
